Isshinryu karate is an Okinawan style of karate created by Tatsuo Shimabuku in the early 1950's.
Our classes include hand kata, weapons kata, sport karate sparring, and self-defense techniques. All classes focus on increasing every student's Respect, Self-Defense skill and Physical Fitness. Isshinryu Karate students ages 6 and up can also expect to gain increased confidence, discipline and coordination.
